Logistics Engineer

What we're looking for
Kyodo Shipping and Trading Corporation USA has openings for ‘Logistics Engineer’ with a Master's degree, or equivalent, in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective processes. Keep up with customer satisfaction. Apply Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency. Negotiate with various freight companies and vendors to procure the best pricing, and terms and ensure timely deliveries. Work with customs brokers to oversee customs clearance according to import/export regulations. Knowledge of Harmonized codes in incoterms. Facilitate smooth movement of goods and manage international trade activities. Provide leadership and guidance for a collaborative and high-performing team. Send out RFQ's (requests for quotation), processing purchase orders, and movement of said orders. Work with various 3PL companies in shipping small packages, LTL, TL, LCL, CL and Air Freight.

Salary
Fair Lawn, NJ. Offered wage: $84,000.00.
Job may require less than 5% travel in the US with expenses paid by the employer. 40hrs per week.
